The screen dimensions
(72dpi) for an ANALOG cassette cover are
283x254 pixels (without
fold-down setlist area)
3.931
x 3.528 in.
283x419 (with fold-down
setlist area)
3.931
x 5.82 in.
The full-size
version of each cover has 72dpi, since your screen can only display
72dpi. BUT, most printers will print at 300dpi which means that
your 72dpi image would come out too small!
You can fix this in any image editing program on a Mac or PC by
choosing the "image size or resolution" option from your
image editor and changing the image from 72dpi to 300dpi. Do not
be alarmed if after you make this change the covers LOOK huge on
your screen as they will print out at the correct size.
If you need a program to do this, you may find some at shareware.com
or download.com or at keyword
"software" on AOL. If you were to download 300dpi covers,
it would take forever. Sorry for the extra step you will need to
take to get it right, but I think it is well worth it.
